Management
John W. Taylor, President & Founder: In 2009, John created TiartaTM, an independent research firm, to assist stakeholders identify and quantify risks surrounding asymmetrical information associated with investing in organizations. Prior to his current position, he worked in management for a publicly-held software company in Finance and Operations. John worked extensively developing revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasting models. He developed the overall annual corporate budget and worked on financial reporting. John also managed the corporate cash and fixed income securities portfolio for the company.
John worked as a management consultant within the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors providing financial analysis, risk assessments, and budgeting services. He worked as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service conducting multi-jurisdictional, criminal investigations into: bank fraud, EFT/check fraud, and intelligence-related cases. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
John holds an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgetown University.
